What are the relevant introductions of Aquarium Co2 Regualtors?

Aquarium Co2 regualtors are an essential part of a planted aquarium to provide carbon dioxide (CO2) to the plants, keeping them healthy & strong, thus helping to prevent the growth of algae. The regulator reduces the high pressure inside the CO2 cylinder to a usable low pressure suitable for dispensing into your aquarium, and it also includes a solenoid valve that will turn on and off the flow of CO2. It can be connected to your aquarium's timer via a set of tubing which needs to be specially made to cope with the cold temperatures and high pressures.

Most aquarium CO2 regulators will have two gauges; one for the tank pressure and another for the working pressure (which is what you're using to feed your plants). Ensure that both of these are large enough to easily read. Some regulators may have a bubble counter included as well, this isn't a necessity but it is very useful, letting you know exactly how much gas you're pumping into your planted aquarium.

The Tunze Dual Gauge Regulator comes with everything you need to get started, a high quality aluminium alloy construction, with large and easy to read pressure gauges for both the CO2 tank and the lower working pressure sent to the solenoid valve. It also has a handy bubble counter and an essential check valve to stop water from back siphoning up the regulator.

Most importantly, it will allow you to increase or decrease the working pressure of your aquarium using the knob at the center of the unit, making it simple and convenient. It's also compatible with most diffusers if you plan on connecting it to one, as long as the tube used is made from CO2 proof materials.
